The „Contemplatin‘ EP“ by Moony Me marks the ninth release by Mainz based imprint Klamauk. As the labels sound is strongly connected with a warm and housey attempt towards club music this EP fits perfectly in their catalogue. Three original tracks by Vienna’s very own Moony Me and a nicely done remix by Iron Curtis offer a smooth package for every dj and collector as well. Moony Me himself is quite busy at the moment. After releasing his music on labels like Uncanny Valley, Sex Panda White, Rose Records and many more, he now handles his Secret Crunch label together with the also known Roman Rauch. With his „Contemplatin‘ EP“ on Klamauk he once again shows his love for warm sounding, soulful house music and the joy he has toying around with samples. Crunchy house music is the final good that comes out after the production process and that’s just the way it is. Keep reading
Roman Rauch is a fanatic cyclist based in Vienna. Besides his love for spinning wheels he as well loves to watch the vinyl spin on turntables. We talked with Roman about his tour through Asia, his Hometown Vienna and how his album came together. We also had a quick chat about his love for Tokyo and upcoming projects. Plus Roman took care of Ohrenschmaus Podcast #036 which can be found beneath.
Roman Rauch opens 2016 for our small podcast series, combining disco, hip hop, electro funk and much more. While he is well known for his house tracks, he already showed his talent for downtempo and hip hop beats on his mini album „Heliocentric“ on Klamauk. With this podcast he allows us to take a glimpse into his other musical fields. On top of his fine selected mix he also had a quick chat with us, which can be found on our homepage. Thanks for your time and outstanding work Roman, your Ohrenschmaus Podcast.

Brenk Sinatra strikes back with his highly anticipated „Midnite Ride“ LP. Vienna based Branko Jordanovic once again proves his talent for coherent sounding beats. After releases like „Gumbo“, „Gumbo 2: Pretty Ugly“, „Hi-Hat Club (Vol. 4): Chop Shop“ and „Singende Klingende Unterwelt“ he created another record you love to hear from the beginning straight to the end. That his sound is on point reached out to old school heroes like DJ Premier and MC Eiht. Last-named collaborated with Brenk on his new album and both already dropped the „Compton 2 Vienna Vol. 1“ mixtape and the „Keep it Hood“ EP.
For our fifth podcast we wanted something special, something which is unusual, but danceable and moody at the same time. We thought for a very long time who could be able to surprise us with a mix which can’t be described in words and there was only one person we had in mind: SPÄK. The Berlin based discjockey is one of the best behind the decks. We remember, last year he uploaded a podcast beginning with a Michael Jackson track and he still made it to a danceable atmosphere which was pure magic to us. With all those skills and his lovely personality we had to have him on our podcast series. If you want magic, here it is.
