Ohrenschmaus Podcast #016 – OP Crew

Our Podcasts

3 months in a row without a podcast, unfortunately there were some troubles with scheduling the artists, the university on our side and gigs the artists had to play. so we decided to record a mix under the alias of „OP Crew“ i guess you’ll get where that comes from.

we really hope you enjoy this one, even if we broke our own rule and made an podcast.

one love, op.

Ohrenschmaus Podcast #013 – Solaris

Our Podcasts

The year is slowly ending and it’s dark almost all day long, but music is something that evolves with darkness sometimes. Solaris the dj who took care about podcast number 13 delivers a wonderful selection of dark, dubby and minimalistic house and techno tunes. He knows how to play records and arrange a mix, because he is a discjockey for so many years. Besides playing music he works for Die Rakete in Nuremberg for already 10 years. That’s why he got in touch with so many genres of electronic music and had the chance to sort out what styles are fitting his taste. We are more than happy with his recording and still love the intro he chose. This mix is really special and we are very proud to have him in the series. He is one of the kindest individuals you can probably meet in the nightlife scene, so please be kind to his mix as well. Ohrenschmaus Podcast says thank you for selecting #013 Solaris!

Ohrenschmaus Podcast #011 – Michael Melchner

Our Podcasts

Due to some problems with the internet connection we skipped our august podcast and go on with nr. 11 in september. With Michael Melchner we got a specialist for groovy and minimalistic house / techno on board. He recently moved to Berlin, but is still well known for his dj sets in Nuremberg and far beyond. Worldwide he made himself a name with releases on labels like Cargo Edition, Doeasy, Love Letters from Oslo and Moon Harbour, just to name a few. Besides his musical achievements he is a really smart and funny guy. We are glad to call him a friend and have him on board. Hooked on the grooves, an excerpt from his facebookpage describes his podcast perfectly. So here you go enjoy this trip and don’t forget to check out his pages, releases and gigs!

Ohrenschmaus Podcast #009 – Toplat

Our Podcasts

We are back with podcast number nine. Selected and mixed by our good friend Toplat. Originally from the east of Germany he now lives in Nuremberg for quite a long time and became one of our homies. His love for music includes a large variety of genres and sounds as you can hear in the mix. He doesn’t care if it is deep house, techno or some pop-electronica kind of thing. Toplat just mixes all of them together and is still delivering a steady flow, something that’s really fascinating. Besides being a dj he also organizes parties with some of his friends under the name “Soundbox”, which is also a blog for music, festivals and so on. We are blessed to call him a friend and have him in the series, this mix is a bit different than the others but of course delivering quality tunes. Enjoy his selection, your Ohrenschmaus Podcast!
